Artist, James Peterson, debuted this piece at Coachella 2014. AJ & Justin chose a reverse projection mapping technic, using LED strips from below with different levels of diffusion frost. Video was projected opposite the direction of the spinning cylinder to create sensory confusion, messing with festival goer’s sensory information, to create misinformation. Walking through this piece felt as though you were turning upside-down.
