Houston Museum of Natural Science’s renovated Wiess Energy Hall opens to public
Update: This story has been updated to clarify which roles Paul Bernhard Exhibits, RabCup, Radar Creative and Green Hippo played in the development of the Energy City exhibit.
From traveling down an oil well to watching the sun rise and set over a miniature Houston, the newly renovated Wiess Energy Hall at the Houston Museum of Natural Science brings the history and science of the energy industry to life through interactive displays.
Called the Wiess Energy Hall 3.0, the updated exhibit opened to the public Nov. 20, according to a press release. It was funded through a $40 million capital campaign, and Austin-based Paul Bernhard Exhibits Design and Consulting led the renovations that expanded the hall from 8,500 square feet to 30,000 square feet.
